Answers to common questions about mobile appointments, remote online notarization, fees, identification, signatures, and preparing for your notary appointment.
It depends on the requested notarial act. For a jurat, the signer must sign in the notary's presence and take an oath or affirmation. An acknowledgment is different because the signer acknowledges the signature. If you are unsure which act is required, ask the receiving agency, attorney, title company, or other authorized party.
Bring current identification that is acceptable for the requested Nevada notarization. If you are unsure whether your ID will work, contact Crystal before the appointment.
A notary is not your attorney and cannot provide legal advice. If the document does not clearly indicate the required notarial act, ask the document recipient, preparer, attorney, title company, or another authorized party.
